I loooove small waves. A glassy little A-frame, maybe a mate or two. Throw in an art-directed dolphin or two, maybe some pastel colours like the kind just before sunset and I reckon you’ve got a recipe for more bliss than just about anything else.

I recall a long, long flat spell on the Gold Coast many years ago now. One day Snapper had some 1ft+ breaking across an inside bank. No-one else could be bothered but they were glassy and peeling so I went out. I must have enjoyed myself because I still remember it so clearly..
