My friend just sent me a link to the blog site for this film, Way of the Ocean.
WAY OF THE OCEAN is a definitive look at wave riding in the current state of our oceans. Follow the world’s best surfers around the globe exploring all the natural wonders of our precious oceans. The salt water provides life and energy on a daily basis and the time to restore and preserve our oceans is now.
I don’t really understand the premise of it yet but the clips are quite entrancing. Part of what makes them so lovely is the absence of voices and explanations over the images, music and soundscapes, but I wonder how if this will be the case in the final production, or if the images and sounds will be overlayed with narration? Check out the blog for a lot more visual goodness and to see what you reckon?

looks to be a good one..
I’ve been following the project through their blog for a while. Some of the images are amazing and they have the quality to focus on the waves as much as on the riders. I’m looking fwd to see what happens when they visit other parts of australia/the world and what other surfers they will work with. So far it’s all good to me!
