Today I started reading the whale eye issue of the baa for the first time. I read the piece by Karen and it brought tears to my eyes. I never knew Mark, although I did have an opportunity to meet him which I regretfully didn’t follow through with. I remember Clif telling me that Mark was putting a movie on somewhere in Sydney and that things weren’t looking good for him, and I am sorry that I did not go.
Karen, thank you for sharing with Kurungabaa. What you wrote was incredibly moving and obviously straight from the heart. I don’t know if you will read this, but I hope you’ve recovered from your neck injury; or was that a metaphor for everything that you were going through?
almost took my breath away

Anyway, thank you.
