Solid Ocean Beach Surf, San Francisco

A solid swell hit Ocean Beach on 20 January 2013. The beachbreak lit up. Big boards. Big Barrels. Big Wipeouts. Cold water. Thick wetsuits. Long paddle-outs. Offshore wind. A good day it seems. This is a place I would like to live.

(You may want to mute the music/noise. I don’t mind it as it keeps you on edge as I imagine those surfing that day felt like – keeping an eye on the horizon to not get caught inside, picking the right wave, etc.)
