Kurungabaa is a not-for-profit publication, and is published annually or bi-annually as a hard copy through the generosity of subscribers, writers, editorial collective, and a variety of donors.
Kurungabaa is sustained purely by the support of its subscribers. Without you we would not be able to survive, grow, and most importantly: remain independent! No ads, no sponsorships, no subsidies – and much freedom of editorial.
Postage is incorporated into the price of the journal regardless of where you are in the world. Currently we have subscribers from Brazil to the Canary’s, South Africa to Australia, Indonesia to Portugal. By subscribing you will be supporting and joining a growing international collective devoted to high-quality, thought-provoking media of the sea.
New format and paper stock for 2011…
The coming issues (early mid-2011 and the following one) sees trialled a new rag grade, Super Paper; significantly altered design and format; and an increased print run of 3000. We intend these changes to help see the mag distributed and dispersed to an even wider audience. Thanks for your support in seeing these trialled changes come through, we firmly believe they will make the mag more accessible.
Note – to offset the price reduction current existing subscribers from 2010 will receive the two rag grade Super paper editions in lieu of their one outstanding edition. Fairtrade or what?

Hi Paul,

Clif.
yes Paul I subscribed waay back in the early days of the Pelican and it arrived in my PO Box .. no hassles
Righteo Nettle your pay pal will not take my PO Box as a valid address, yet I see above this has worked for others.
Little insight as to how I can get this happening?
Hey Ren,
Even though Paypal says no PO Box just put it in anyway and it will accept. they do that because some people send large packages. But ours is an A4 envelope so no wuckas.
Clif.
Sorry guys but it wont accept the PO Box as valid and kicks you back to re-enter your data. either that or i just ordered an annual subscription about 15 times over.
i tried various combinations of the number then Po Box, C/- Po Box, POB, etc but the computer aint taking it.
Damn, that is weird. Email me your address, you can find my details on the “About” page. Send a cheque or money order to our PO Box addy on “About” page. I will get an issue to you.
In the meantime I will find out how to do the PO Box on Paypal.
G’day,
Could you kindly inform me as to whether postage to Japan is available and at what cost? Also, are past issues available?
